Chinese New Year Cookies

Chinese New Year is approaching soon, hence i got to prepare for this class early.

Learn the making of Chinese New Year cookies, Pineapple Tarts, Cashew Nut Cookies and Cornflake Cookies. The pineapple tart melts in your mouth. Cashew Nut and Cornflakes cookies that are so fragant and crisp.
If you would like to make cookies for your friends and relatives. Here is the opportunity, i will be running such classes in Dec.
This class will conducted in a group of 4.

Confirmed dates for this class are 13, 14, 20, 27 and 28 Dec. For classes on Sat will only start at 3pm and Sunday classes either 10.30am or 2pm (except for 14 Dec, starts at 2pm).

It will be a 3 hours session and it is $80 per pax, and participants gets to bring back the cookies packed nicely in those containers, which will liven up the festive mood.

Christmas Baking Class

Cookies Decoration
You will make both chocolate and gingerbread cookies and decorating with royal icing. Cookies shapes include snowflakes, christmas tree, gingerbread man.










Rich Christmas Fruit Cake
This is a must for Christmas, learn how to make this rich traditional christmas fruit cake. The fruits are soaked in brandy, it will definately give an intense taste.











Fees: $100 nett


Note:
The duration of the class is approximately 4 hours, due to long baking time of the fruit cake. Decoration for fruit cake will not be covered, but instructions on cake decorating will be provided. Only one person per session.

Series of Baking Classes

Lesson 1: Tart making and mocktail making (non-alcholic)

Strawberry Custard tarts & Lemon Meringue tarts. You will learn the making of shortcrust pastry and custard cream for the strawberry tarts and lemon curd filling and meringue for the lemon tarts.










Lesson 2: Cup Desserts and mocktail making (non-alcholic)

Classic Tiramisu & Strawberry Shortcake You will learn the making of the sponge fingers and the cheese filling for the tiramisu and sponge cake making for the strawberry shortcake.






Lesson 3: Classic Brownie, Raspberry Brownie and mocktail making (non-alcholic)

You will learn the making of brownie base and chocolate ganache topping for the classic brownie and raspberry brownie base and raspberry chocolate ganache topping for the raspberry brownie. You will get to make 1 whole block of brownie for each flavour.







Lesson 4: Whole cake and mocktail making (non-alcholic)

Choice of either fresh fruit cake or black forest cake. You will learn the making of the sponge cake, splitting the cake into 3 layers. And simple decoration for the cake.









Note: The 4 sessions will be charged at $90 per session, however, if you take up all the 4 sessions, it will be charged at $280 (discount of $80). All the sessions are 3 hours long. It will be conducted on a one to one basis. And they are scheduled depending on your availability, preferably in 4 consecutive weeks. 2 lessons can be conducted on the same day subject to availability.

Cheesecake and Cheese Tart + Smoothie Making

Indulge yourself in the rich cheesecake? In this class, you will learn how to make baked cheesecake and cheese tart. You will make everything from scratch, from the biscuit base to the cheesecake mixutre. You will also learn how to make the cheese tart, including the shortcrust pastry. You will bring home a whole cheesecake and a dozen of cheese tarts. (One to one session preferred due to the long baking time). The session will last for 3.5 hours. Choice of either blueberry or strawberry filling. It will be charged at $130 per pax.

Traditional Doughnut and Cream Puff + Smoothie Making

I miss those doughnuts in a stick, it was like ten over years ago i last ate that.

In this class, you get to make the doughnut dough. Finish off with sugar coating, chocolate rice and almond nibs. I will also touch on cream puff making, you will get to make the choux pastry, custard filling and creme patisserie. It will be charged at $90 per pax.

Portuguese Egg Tart + Smoothie Making

In this class, you will learn how to make the puff pastry and the egg custard. It is charged at $55 per pax.

Cookies Decorating + Smoothie Making

In the cookies decorating class, you will learn to make the cookies and the different methods of decorating with royal icing. It is $70 per pax.

Cupcake Baking + Smoothie Making

In this cupcake decorating class, you will learn how to make the cupcakes and buttercream icing, as well as the basic decorating techniques. Some of the flavours include Oreo, Kit Kat, Toberlone, Strawberry, Raspberry and Orange. You get to bring home the cupcakes you made. It will be charged at $75 per pax.
